1967	Born June 11, 1967 in Neuilly s/Seine, Paris. Dual nationality: Switzerland & U.S.A.. Son of the Swiss artist & tattooer FELIX LEU and the American artist & tattooer LORETTA LEU. Grandson of the Swiss artist EVA AEPPLI.

1967-1981

Grew up in France, Great Britain, Spain (Baleares), Greece, India, Nepal & "on the road". No formal education. Educated by his mother LORETTA LEU. LORETTA LEU studied Early Childhood Education at the New York University, N.Y.C. & Fine Arts at the Brooklyn Museum Art School, N.Y., the New School of Visual Arts, N.Y.C. & with the artist PHYLLIS YAMPOLSKI, N.Y.C.

1981	Family settles permanently in Lausanne, Switzerland. Starts his apprenticeship in Fine Arts & Tattooing with his father FELIX LEU. FELIX LEU studied Fine Arts at the Brooklyn Museum Art School, N.Y. & the San Francisco Art Institute, S.F.. He studied Tattooing with JOCK of King's X, London, U.K.

1981-1985

Studies, paints, draws & tattoos with his father in Lausanne.

1985	To complete his apprenticeship starts and Around the World Study Tour with visits to tattooers in India, Thailand, Hong Kong & Taiwan. Continues to Japan. Tattoos independently 3 months in Tokyo. Tattoos HORIKIN - MITSUAKI OHWADA. Stuides Japanese Hand Tattooing with HORITOSHI - OWADA TASHIKAZU.

1985-1986

Continues his tour to the U.S. Studies & tattoos 1 year under ED HARDY, Realistic Tattoo Studio, San Francisco, Ca. Intersperses his stay at Realistic with 2 short working-stays at the Dutchman's Tattoo Studio in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.

1986	Before rerturning to Europe short apprenticeship in tattoo machine construction with PAUL ROGERS, Jacksonville Beach, Fla.. Returns to paint, draw & tattoo in Lausanne, Switzerland. Becomes full partner of his father's the Leu Family's Family Iron Tattoo Studio.

1987	Second visit with PAUL ROGERS.

1988	Tattoos 3 months with CLAUS FUHRMANN & BERNIE LUTHER in Vienna, Austria.

1988-1989

Tattoos independently, paints & draws 5 months in Goa, India.

1990	January 16th, 1990 marries TITINE KESSELRING, daughter of Swiss writer, journalist, editor & publisher ROLF KESSELRING.
